New Patient Experience
What to Expect at Your First Visit
We perform a comprehensive dental exam to get to know and understand each of our patient’s needs and expectations. We begin by taking diagnostic digital x-rays for the detection of decay, tumors, cysts, and bone loss. These x-rays also help determine tooth and root positions. The exam also includes an oral cancer screening, periodontal (gum) disease evaluation, tooth decay evaluation, and examination of existing dental work. During this initial visit, you will receive your professional dental cleaning.
Pediatric (for the kids)
We are a family practice, which means we delight in taking care of your child’s dental needs. We do our best to make going to the dentist a fun and educational experience. We recognize that a pleasant early association with the dentist means better oral habits and health as the years go by.
Emergency Services?
Dental emergencies can be stressful, painful, and happen when you least expect them. Our team is here to provide immediate, gentle care to relieve your pain and protect your smile. We prioritize urgent cases to ensure you receive fast, high-quality treatment exactly when you need it most.
Financial Terms?
We accept cash, checks, and most major credit cards. Uninsured patients who pay on their day of service with cash or check receive a 5% discount. We also offer monthly payment plans through CareCredit (hyperlink). We do accept many different insurance plans and would be happy to discuss your policy with you.
Sedation Options
Let’s face it: dental anxiety is real. To keep you completely comfortable, we offer two safe sedation options tailored to your needs:
- Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas): Perfect for mild anxiety. You breathe it through a mask, feel instantly relaxed, and can safely drive home right after your visit.
- Conscious Oral Sedation: Best for longer procedures or deeper anxiety. You swallow a small pill before your appointment. You will remain awake and responsive, but deeply relaxed, and you will likely remember very little of your procedure.
